Asking For Permission

We sent an email to the record label 'Cherry Tree Records' to seek permission to use Lady GaGas song in the back of our video, as it will not be used for anything other then our corse work and wont be published it should be okay. Below is a copy of the email we sent.
Although Lady GaGA is now with a different music label we did our research and she was with Cherry Tree Records when she released Beautiful Dirty Rich so we thought it would be best to contact those.

They have not replied as of yet- so we will follow up with maybe a phone call if we can find there number.

My name is Kirsty Shakespeare and I am currently studying A Level Media at the New Academy Wolverhampton, England. My course enables me and my team to create our own music video. We have decided we would like to use Lady Gaga's Beautiful Dirty Rich as the backing track to our video, however, copyright laws state we must seek permission from the record label. I hope you will be kind enough to let us use this song, we assure you that our vidoe will not be published in anyway, or posted on the internet for any profit at all.
